Prof Peter Goldblatt

Professor Peter Godlblatt Born in Johannesburg, 1943. Undergraduate degree from University of the Witwatersrand, PhD, University of Cape Town (Botany) in 1970. Junior lecturer at UCT 1968-1972. Then research botanist, then senior curator at the Missouri Botanical Garden 1972 to present. Now live in Portland, Oregon. Major research interests are systematics and phylogeny of Iridaceae, major focus on African members of the family. Also work on systematics, phylogeny of Hyacinthaceae.
